Richmond Elite held a basketball camp June 18, 2011 at Highland Springs High School. The camp was ran under the direction of Coach Cravelyn Williams, an assistant coach for Richmond Elite and Highland Springs High School and the perspective Richmond Elite Basketball team. The camp taught the youth the basics and fundamentals of basketball. There were 6 different stations set up to focus on certain drills for each group to participate. After a long day of learning and fun, the kids finished the day by playing a very competive basketball game to show off their skills they had been working on all day.
Trophies were given for First Place Team as well as Free throw, 3-point and Most improved attendee. Everyone enjoyed themselves and received a Richmond Elite medallion for their participation and hard work. They also received discounted bowling coupons donated to Richmond from AMF bowling so they could finish off their exciting day with family and friends.
